Looking for a parametric model of human skull

I'm creating 3D topographic images of brain surface activity. At
present, I'm using a simple hemispere to represent the head shape,
but I would like to use something more realistic. So...

Does anyone know of the existence of some sort of parametric model
that I can use to represent the skull ???

I'm not sure what form it might take - anything from a set of
X,Y,Z to a series of equations I guess. It doesn't have to be *totally*
realistic, as it will simply act as a visual aid.

Any suggestions or comments would be most appreciated

Thanks in advance...
