About three weeks ago it was a TV news headline that at a conference in
New Orleans (or was it somewhere else?) a great breakthrough in brain
imaging studies during memorizing tasks had lately been achieved. The
imaging technique used was Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and the
results were described surprising in the sense that unexpectedly many
brain areas seemed to be taking part in the cognitive processes
involved.

I'm interested in finding more information on the issue: Do you happen
to know any articles about these results or other sources of
information? I would be very grateful even for hints.
