Hello. I was wondering if anyone is aware of recent papers on the
influence of visual cortex (areas 17, 18 and 18a) on subcortical
structures, especially the superior colliculus and lateral geniculate.
I am more interested in functional effects than anatomy, which I
already have sources for. I am aware of Molitchnikoff's work with
cooling of cortex and looking at LGN cells, and Chalupa's lesion work
with cortex and the colliculus. Is anyone aware of anything more
recent than this? Thanks in advance.
