I hope that I am not disturbing anyone by posting this request to this
group. I am looking for information on graduate schools. The areas
that seem best fit to my interests are programs in cognitive
psychology (with leanings toward neural networks), programs in AI with
strong connectionist leanings, and programs in mathematical and
computational neuroscience. My own specific interests are auditory
perception, general theories of perception, mathematical and
computational models of various neural systems, and connectionist
views of language as a mode of perception.
If anyone could forward me some information on grad programs with
these areas being actively persued, and (possibly) on grant and
financing information that may be related to such research I would
greatly appriciate it.
