Need information about brain chemical

Hi,

	I don't usually subscribe to this group, but I am looking for a 
little information that I'm sure people in this group would know.  I need
to find the name of the chemical messenger used to store or transfer information
in the brain.  I think it sounds like "engram."  Thanks in advance.
