Do you think there might be an abundance of differing organisms ( bacterial
Fungal) in such an effluent

Do you think there might be both aerobic and anaerobic organisms.

I would start with general media to assess the aerobic and anaerobic
bacterial populations together with an estimate of the yeast and mould

It is by such means you will be able to detrmine if one morphological type
predominates.

Suggest Plate count agar and Rosebengal CHloramphenicol agar
