I am searching for bacteria with special properties, and I wonder if
there is a database or at least a table where some basic
characteristics of many bacteria are collected.
Like aerob/anaerob/aerophile/aerotolerant, minimum/optimum/maximum PH,
minimum/optimum/maximum temperature, gram+/-, biosafety level, prefered
nutrition (glucose/lactose/lactate/lipide/proteine...), primary
metabolite(s)...
Can anyone point me to a site where I can find such a database, even if
it is not as complete as my above mentioned wishes?
