I don't know about arabinose specifically, but in general one can
autoclave a stock solution of a sugar -- but separately from the rest
of the medium. (Sugars are likely to react with other media
ingredients if autoclaved in the medium.) So, make (e.g.) a 20% (w/v)
solution of sugar, and autoclave it. Then add sugar solution to the
medium as needed.
Antibiotic solutions should be filter sterilized.
