Arabinose can probably be added to the medium before autoclaving without
problem. 
On the other hand antibiotics (ampicillin here) should not be autoclaved
and should be added to the medium as cool as possible (Room temperature
in broth, around 50°C for Agar). Usually I don't sterillize them (but
they are prepared in sterile water) or I simply filter them on .2 µM
filters.
