QC Microbiology Manager
Description: You will be responsible for the daily operations in the
Quality Control Microbiology department.
Responsibilities include scheduling and
oversight of cGMP activities, assay development and transfer, data
trending, personnel supervision and training. You may represent
QC in project team meetings and perform investigations for deviations,
OOS and environmental Alert/Action reports
Job Qualifications Include:
BS/BA in Microbiology
At least 7 years experience in a QC/QA department preferably in
thebiotech/pharmaceutical
industry
Experience in environmental and water system monitoring, microbial
identification, endotoxin testing and routine pharmaceutical
microbiology
techniques
Knowledge of FDA (CDER) regulations, European Directives, ICH
guidelines, and cGMP regulations
Excellent communication, management and technical writing skills
Experience with ELISA methodology is a plus
