Hello,
i'm planning to do a colony blot on bacteria from soil. Amongst these
bacteria there are of course gram-positive bacteria. I want to grow
these on the nylon filter used for hybridization. the question
involves the lysis of these bacteria. normally NaOH is used. this
won't lysate the gram-positive bacteria. any idea which solution i
should use as lysis buffer?
