Very close, indeed.  If you want it on the internet, just type in the keywords:
promoter, DNA, "gene expression" and you should be inundated with sites that 
explain it.

You may also visit the NCBI site <http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/> for every 
question you may have.
