Does anyone know how the Cargill Dow dextrose to lactic acid
fermentation process (used in their NatureWorks polylactic acid plant
in Blair Nebraska) is run. I would like to know how the prepare the
inoculum (is it grown on site, shipped in or ...), is continous or
batch and if continuous do they use cell recycle?
