Hi I am an independent consultant based in Pune,India. I am interested
in manufacturing NISIN antibiotic. I have procured the strain
Streptococcus lactis (Lactococcus lactis) and I want to begin my work
next week. If anybody has data about its propagation and NISIN
precursors kindly advise. I am a Pharmacy Graduate but experienced in
Microbiology work and my present occupation is that of a consultant
for Molasses based Alcohol fermentations. Besides I am also looking
for an assay procedure for Nisin in broth and its
isolation/extraction. I will appreciate any help extended to me in
