Hi,
I have set up a blast server for an intranet. I would like to make my
GenBank files searchable with blast. The problem is that I would have to
convert the GenBank files into the Blast database files. This way I would
have to double my data and update it every time a new GenBank file comes in.
Rather, I would prefer to have them searched directly by my Blast server. I
could not find any use ful information on the NCBI website concerning this
issue.
Does anyone here know, how I could go about this? I would appreciate any
help.
