Myco or Micro?

The confusion stems from the similarity of the genus names

Microbacterium Orla-Jensen 1919 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Takeuchi
and Hatano 1998

and

Mycobacterium Lehmann and Neumann 1896 (Approved Lists 1980)

There is indeed a validly published genus name 'Microbacterium',
contrary to what some others have responded. Questions of taxonomy can
be checked at the web site for the "List of Bacterial names with
Standing in Nomenclature"
