A couple of papers may get you started:

Nazina et al. (2000) Mikrobiologia 69, 113-119.
which has phylogenic diversity studies using the 16S rRNA gene (primer sequences included).

Nazina et al. (2001) IJSEM 51, 433-446
Which deals directly with the taxonomy of Geobacilli (-  they are aerobes).
