You can try research technician positions at the universities or technical
positions in companies. I don't think that it should be too difficult to
find such a position. At least, much easier than postdoc or higher level
research positions for which you probably are not eligible, because they
require PhD degree. No experience simply translates into lower pay, but I am
sure you will catch up pretty soon.
