It depends on the oxidant. In general, Gram positive bacterial have a
thicker cell wall and will resist oxidants (chlorine, ozone, and other
common disinfectants) better than Gram negative bacteria. Bacteria that
have an oxidase enzyme (oxidase positive) will survive better when exposed
to hydrogen peroxide than bacteria without. The oxidants, conditions, pH,
temperature, etc. need to be better defined.
