A postdoctoral position in bioinformatics is anticipated
beginning September 1, 2002 in the laboratory of Dr. Julia Krushkal at
the Center of Genomics and Bioinformatics and the Department of
Preventive Medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center
in Memphis. The successful candidate will use computational methods to
identify transcription regulatory elements and perform multiple genome
comparisons of Archaebacteria.
A Ph.D. in life sciences, or an advanced degree in computer
science or another technical discipline is required. Previous
programming experience is essential.
