I would be very grateful if anyone who has access to Carl Zeiss Jena
catalogues from the early 20th century could let me know when model number
69428 was available. It's the old story of someone finding an old microscope
in the back of a cupboard. It's very dirty and needs a lot of work done to
it. The reason it may be very interesting is that it looks very much like
the microscope in some pictures of Prof Beijerinck, but since the
photographer wasn't really interested in the microscope, it's not possible
to see enough detail to make a positive identification.
Before I go wild and start looking at restoration, it would be nice to know
if it is as old as I think.
