defining ribosomal RNA in prokaryotes

A seemingly simple question which I have been unable to answer:

How are the ends of the 5S, 16S and 23S rRNAs defined in prokaryotes?

I am able to find these regions in my sequence by the obvious homology,
but I am unsure how to define the exact bases at the 5'/3' ends of each
segment within the region. Can anyone suggest a reference which
describes the processing of these molecules or tell me how to delimit
each one?

Thanks in advance for any advice,
