Thanks to those who helped me earlier, it really gave me some direction in this
project.  Now I have a more specific question: Does Lactobacilli produce the enzyme
called FabI or ENR (enzyme enoyl-acyl carrier-protein reductase)?  And if not, can
anyone tell me of a harmless bacteria that does produce it?
