I got a BA in Bacteriology at a major university, then went through med tech
training, and am now working as a clinical laboratory microbiologist. I went
back for a master in micro mainly as a joy ride because as a junior med tech I
was making more than my tenured professor! I have not used my master degree but
have worked wonderful places as a clinical microbiologist.
