Maybe I'm wrote, but: aren't stromatolites produced by cells activity? If it's so: there must to be at a least a little time between them and the first autorreplicatives mol. And: stromatolites cells wasn't colonies? Them, from the first cell to the complex fo a colony with all its interactions musted to pass some time too. I repeat: maybe I'm wrote.
   My idea of 'origin of life' is something like Oparin's experiments, something more 'molecular', not organisms.
