Domain Experts
OmniViz, Inc. a new Battelle spin-out company is
a leader in providing innovative data mining and
visualization-based solutions to the bio-tech,
life science and chemical industries. OmniViz is
seeking several Informatics Domain Experts to
join our team based in the Boston, MA area
You will be responsible for:
· Work in collaboration with software
development staff in designing new visualization
paradigms for the OmniViz suite of tools.
· Working one on one, with current and
potential OmniViz clients, in interpretation of
Visualizations and Graphic representations of
scientific test data, as generated by OmniViz Pro.
· Ensure that all OmniViz products are
optimized for end user usability, by developing
user specifications, assisting in Q/A and testing
and generating user documentation.
· Deliver training programs to OmniViz Pro
client base, as well as development of all
program materials such as training manuals, &
PowerPoint presentations.
· Provide on and off site technical support
for the OmniViz suite of tools.
· Work with development staff to rectify
existing client concerns and issues regarding
current release of OmniViz Pro.
Job Requirements:
· Experience utilizing in large scale,
scientific applications within a laboratory
environment.
· 2-4 years of hands-on Lab experience.
Must have had exposure to statistics,
bioinformatics, chemoinformatics, or medical
informatics.
· BS in Life Science or Chemistry. The
Ideal Candidate will have Advanced degree in one
of the following: Computational Biology,
Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology
Biostatistics or Bioinfomatics.
