Winge Agar is simple and seems to work well for the Candida albicans I
use in my lab.
Composition per Liter:
Glucose 20 g; Agar 15 g; yeast Extract 3 g pH 7.2 =/- 0.2 @ 25 C.
For complete media, I would suggest looking in Handbook of
Microbiological Media 2nd ed, Ronald M Atlas. There are several recipes
for C albicans (about 10-15 different ones).
