QUICKCARD is a novel new test format for detecting autoimmune disease. A
simple to perform two-step test, it provides accurate results in just five
minutes without the need for automation. With a range that includes tests
for autoimmunity and infectious disease, QUICKCARD represents a major
advance in rapid diagnosis.

Developed by autoimmunity specialists Bio-Diagnostics, QUICKCARDS utilise a
patented new technology which offers significant benefits over conventional
immunoassays. Each test takes minutes to perform, simply requiring one drop
of diluted serum sample to be added to the test card, followed by a few
drops of colour developing reagent. Results appear quickly as clearly
visible red spots that are well defined and easy to interpret.
Sensitivity and specificity of QUICKCARD tests are equivalent to ELISA,
without the need for lengthy incubations and instrumentation. With the
obvious benefits of speed and convenience, the new format introduces the
option for rapid reporting of individual patient tests.
