Integron is an especialized extrachromosomal genetic structure capable of
gathering resistance genes in one cluster, all integrons have an integrase
gene and the specific intregration secuence, that allows them to step in and
out of the chromosome, for some reason (maybe the specific integration
secuence) they mostly gather resistance gene, also they have the enough
information to travel to other cell. I've read somewhere that they transfer
via conjugational bridge formed by plasmid (i.e. F-plasmids), I'm not sure
if the integrons have tra regions
