If you can be more specific about the bacteria you need a cryoprotectant 
for, I can try to get you specific information on which formula we use 
to preserve our strains. We have a number of cryoprotectants in use: 
skim milk is an important one....we also have various combinations 
containing bovine serum albumin (Cohn Frac V), sucrose, trehalose, 
dextrin, and TSB.
