Could it be that if you are motile you MAY move but if you are mobile
you DO move?
I'm not a linguist but am a supporter of CARP - the CAmpaign for Real
Pedantry :-).
I can remember a problem with Rhizobium in my own lab wherebye the only
non-motile strain we were working with seemed to be able to outpace
everything else. We never found out why. Maybe it was a better
hitchhiker than all the others.
Hitchhiking bugs - now there's a thought.
