I am conducting a review of rapid assays for the detection of bacterial
indicators such as E. coli and enterococci. This is for application to
environmental water quality monitoring eg. bathing waters. If anyone
with knowledge/experience of new or innovative techniques for rapid
assessments (eg. enzymatic, flow cytometry, 'dipstick' colour change
tests or antibody-based laser scanning techniques) could contact me
