Hello
I am trying to gather some background information for a graduate
paper on the subject of "Project Wildfire" which inspired
Michael Chrichton's 1971 novel and the motion picture based upon
it.
I have the following questions:
- Is Dr. Jeremy Stone a real person? I found a person with this
name on the board of a scientific organisation in Washington,
DC.
- If the Wildfire Project existed in the 1960's, one would
assume that as of today, facilities, methods asf. to deal with
biological threats -man-made or else- have much evolved. Is it
thereofore valid to surmise, that much more sophisticated
facilities like Wildfire exist nowadays?
