Actually, I'm quite familiar with Anaerobe Systems and also with the problem
of Gram staining outside the anaerobic environment. This is a different
issue to the one which I was addressing, though. I exposed plate cultures to
controlled levels of oxygen, 0.1% to 0.5% at which morphological effects
became apparent.
I'm quite pleased that there isn't much work going on in this area!
