FACULTY POSITIONS - MOLECULAR MECHANISMS OF INFECTIOUS DISEASES
The Department of Biology and Biochemistry at the University of Houston
invites
applications for tenure-track faculty positions at any rank using
biochemical, cellular or genetic approaches to investigate the
molecular mechanisms of infectious disease. The individual will
complement existing strengths in microbial pathogenesis, genetics,
mechanistic enzymology, X-ray crystallography and computer-based drug
design. The positions require a Ph.D. and postdoctoral experience.
Faculty are expected to develop nationally-competitive research
programs and participate in graduate and undergraduate teaching. The
Department has spacious research laboratories and encourages research
collaborations.
