I do urgently need assistance in interpretation of two - may be -
contradictionary results of laboratory findings from chronically
suffering patient (mild neurologic, cardiac, arthritic symtoms):
1 . A wound swab from one sided paining tonsil region showed huge
concentration of "Streptococcus bovis - Group D, nonenterococci"
2. Antistreptolysin-Tests where negative throughout in the past.
Would ASL-titer react positive with infections by Group D Streptococci?
I would be gratefull hearing a short comment
Best regards
