Here's what he wants to know: An erythroblast, in the process of
maturing into an erythrocyte, expels its
nucleus. What mediates this process? Is it an enzyme, some kind of
molecular motor, an electromagnetic
reaction, or some other process? If it were, say, an enzyme, might it be
isolated and injected into a
tumor, thus causing malignant cells to expel their nuclei and thus be
deprived of their ability to divide.
Such an outcome would end the growth of the tumor, and perhaps begin its
shrinkage and eventual
elimination. Comments and thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
and best. MR.
