Dear Abdulhakim,
The main method for desalinate water involves a reverse osmosis process.
The water produced is steril (even virus free). And even there could be
only a limited number of chemical that could go throug the osmosis
membrane.
But you must take care of desalinated water because there a risk of
recontamination before drinking. It could be advisable the addition of
some clorine for a safer consumption.
