Perhaps you are looking for information on Alicyclobacillus acidoterrestris.
There is a review by Nancy Jensen in a recent (1998) issue of "Food
Australia"  This sporeformer is heat resistant, grows under acidic
conditions and produces taints in orange juice. It will grow slowly on
specialised (acidic) media.
