Have not had any experience using Crystal ID for gram positives.  We use
Vitek GPI for the few gram positives we identify, the majority of which
are streps from blood cultures or confirming genus and species on
possible VRE's.  We don't use GPI for any catalase positive organisms,
however, with the exception of a Listeria we had within the last year
from a CSF.  It worked fine for that.
