Enterotubes and Oxyferm

Greetings Microbiologists:

Are any of you knowledgeable of how enterotubes and oxyferm are used in
bacterial identification? I'm experienced in doing IDs using Vitek and
API, but the new job I accepted late this afternoon (I'm starting on
Monday) uses these methods. I'll be hitting the Web to do some searching
about these methods when I mail this, but I'd like to know what you know
and opine about them.

I called colleague of mine from a former workplace to ask her, and she
says they aren't very good, although she admits it's been10 years since
she's used either (and then only as a backup method). So, what do you
folks think?

Thank you for your knowledge and help.

Infectionately,
Yersinia.
