What is a "presumptive non haemolytica?" I'm clueless. Listeria
monocytogenes is a weakly beta hemolytic gram positive rod (on sheep
blood agar) and is catalase positive. I'm not a food biologist so I
don't really know how they go about finding it in lunch meat. I've only
seen it three times in 25 years; twice in spinal fluid (only one or two
colonies each time) and once in a blood culture. Perhaps you can expand
or redefine your question.
