radiation tolerant bacteria

Hi,

You should try to find out more about the bacterial species Deinococcus
radiodurans.  It's a gram positive bacteria that can withstand high doses
of radiation.  I think it also has an outer membrane which makes it fairly
unqiue amongst the gram positives.
