I think the new technology will be much more exacting than the old way
and I totally agree with David's comments. I think the real problem
comes in dealing with historical classifications and interfacing them
with new knowledge. We are in a much better position to make some hard
and fast rules than 30 years ago. My guess is that similar phenomenon to
what happened with Salmonella will happen with other species when they
are found to be near identical.
