Cortisol and immunity

There are pathogens that thrive in vitro if cortisol is added to the
culture. There are also pathogens that thrive in vivo when cortisol levels
are elevated. Cortisol levels often rise during an infection. Are there
pathogens that appear to boost cortisol levels to make the host more
hospitable to them? Thanks.
