I found this piece to be very thought provoking. All things change with
time and I agree much more research should be devoted to the study of
adaptation of microbes and viruses to their hosts and environments.
Unfortunately the rate at which we study these subjects and also make
worthwhile discoveries will always be lagging someway behind the adaptation
of the the viruses and microbes.
