I am trying to find an enzymic or colorimetric, specific assay for propionate, to check the identity of a peak on HPLC (retention time/spiked samples & UV/RI ratio suggest propionate, but I'm not convinced). Can anyone provide me with a literature reference or protocol? Thanks! Jack Pronk, Delft
