Surf over to www.cdc.gov and look under publications. It comes out
weekly, usually on Friday. Usually there are three to four articles,
plus disease occurance statistics. You will often find that at least
one of these articles gets mentioned in the media (both newspaper and
television) either on Thursday, before the public release of the
article, or on the same day, but usually in a much watered down form.
You can subscribe to these via e-mail, in either pdf form or ascii
text. Also at the CDC site you can search for past issue topics, or
simply browse past issues.
