A postdoc position in Microbiology and Fungal physiology is available at
Institut National des Sciences Appliquées, Département de Génie
Biochimique et Alimentaire, Toulouse, France.
The candidate has to be well motivated, hard working with strong
background in Mycology, Cell
physiology and Biochemistry. The successful candidate needs to be
fluent in English and to have knowledge of French language (fluency will
be appreciated).
The research in my lab is focusing on the metabolism of fungi. The
current projects, funded by industrialists and E.U. include metabolism
of Monascus, polyketide pathway, mycotoxicology, detoxification.
The position will be available at the beginning of 1999.
