FACULTY POSITION IN MICROBIOLOGY
MOLECULAR BASIS OF BACTERIAL PATHOGENESIS
The Department of Microbiology at Washington State University invites
applications for a tenure-track faculty position as an Assistant or
Associate Professor. Applicants should have research interests and
experience in the molecular basis of bacterial pathogenesis. Candidates
should have a Ph.D. in Microbiology or related discipline, postdoctoral
training, ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues,
and a record indicating outstanding abilities and potential in research
and teaching The successful candidate will be expected to develop and
maintain an externally-funded research program and participate in
graduate and undergraduate teaching in the areas of general and pathogenic
